Prior to the delivery team arriving, please check the dimension of any items ordered to ensure they are able to be physically manoeuvred to the desired delivery point, you can contact the company you have purchased from to obtain the dimensions. Please also provide our teams with a clear and spacious route to the delivery point, ensuring external paths and driveways are clear, and any obstructions in internal hallways, rooms and staircases are removed.
Please ensure you have placed adequate covering to protect your flooring/carpets as no claims can be made for damage caused to unprotected flooring/carpets. Please note that the delivery team are forbidden to remove any safety clothing, including footwear.
Please can you remove any personal objects that may be breakable en-route to the desired delivery point (Ornaments, Wall Pictures, Trailing Wires...), before the delivery team arrives.
If the delivery team feel that the item(s) cannot be physically manoeuvred without causing damage to the product or property, they will inform you of this matter and offer to leave item(s) in a safe room in the property.
If you still wish the delivery team to remove the packaging or attempt to take the item to the desired point, it is at your own risk and BJS Distribution will take no responsibility for any damage which may occur to the product or property.
You will be asked to write, "I take responsibility of any damage caused to property and product" and sign the delivery note to that effect.
Please ensure all packaging of item(s) are carefully checked and that you have received the correct number of parcels on the delivery note before signing.
Please ensure all collection items are repacked prior to collection. Please note that we may be unable to collect wet or heavily soiled items due to health and safety regulations. Any decision regarding a collection will be made at the discretion of our team.
